Ingenta Institute 2001 ReportAssumptions vs. Reality: User Behavior in Sourcing Scholarly Information
What impact does online content delivery and site licensing have on how scholarly researchers acquire information? And, how does this impact journal subscriptions and article distribution? The Institute's newly published research contains the results from three original research projects commissioned in 2001 on different aspects of user behavior in sourcing scholarly information. The results are analyzed in seven papers from senior representatives of the academic, library and scholarly publishing communities.
