ALA Midwinter Meeting 2004
9-12 January, San Diego, California

We look forward to seeing you at ALA Midwinter this January (Booth #332). As always, members of our library customer service, product development and sales teams will be in attendance, and look forward to meeting with you.

While at the Ingenta stand, be sure to:

• Enter your name in our Beach Basket Raffle. One random, lucky winner will receive a unique "picnic backpack," to enjoy on the beach in San Diego, or simply save for those warmer days back home...

• Sign up for a free trial of our unified alerting license, and receive a live demo of the service from one of our library service team members.

• Inquire about our free online training sessions offered to library administrators throughout 2004. The first 25 registrants will be entered into a prize drawing.

And, register to attend the Ingenta Institute Research Seminar: Saturday, 10 January, 11:30-12:30pm at the Manchester Grand Hyatt Hotel (Ford B, 1/10)

Ingenta will be presenting on the Ingenta Institute* sponsored study recently conducted in conjunction with Philip Davis, Life Sciences Bibliographer, Cornell University.

The study, entitled Opening Pandora's Box: How will improved access to usage data affect library and publisher decision making? was presented for the first time at the 2003 Charleston Conference, and is based on usage statistics data and research compiled and analyzed from both both Cornell University and Ingenta. This new presentation, prepared expressly for ALA MidWinter, offers further analysis and insights to the Charleston session and will be given by Janet Fisher, Director of US Client Management at Ingenta.

*The Ingenta Institute is a non-profit forum that funds independent research in the information community. For more information about the Institute, please email Amanda Procter.
