Benefits of the new Beta site include:• Content - A broad range of content, such as journals, books, reports, statistics, and more, available from one location with immediate access to over 16 million full text articles from more than 28,000 publications available for document delivery or pay-per-view.
• Simpler, cleaner site navigation - The interface has undergone thorough information architecture processes and has been user-tested every step of the way.

• Improved Access Control and Authentication Methods - Login boxes, links to registration, “forgot my password” feature and links to activate subscriptions are logically placed and consistent throughout the pages of IngentaConnect ensuring a user-friendly experience.
• Deposit accounts – Available for the first time to ALL users, including Ingenta Select users.
• Personalization – The ability for IngentaConnect Premium users to personalize their web page with their logo and text.
• Easier identification of library holdings - Effectively flagged on screen.
• Combined usage statistics - For libraries and institutions, your monthly statistics will now be available from a single source.
• A website with advanced engineering and flexible technology – To make further enhancements and developments in the future.
IngentaConnect unites Ingenta.com and Ingenta Select to create a single web service with access to more than 6,100 full-text online publications and 28,000 titles delivered by fax or Ariel. The first phase of the Beta site allows you and your patrons the ability to search and browse. Incremental enhancements will be released throughout summer 2004 leading up to the final site launch in Fall 2004.
