Welcome
to the latest issue of eyetoeye. It's another bumper edition as we report on the many happenings at Ingenta over the last few months, and look forward to those coming up.
We're very excited to announce the beta launch of our new technical blog, All My Eye. It's a more informal, realtime means for us to communicate our news and views to you, and we hope you'll add it to the list of blogs you read. Don't worry, it won't all be technical jargon! Speaking of which, check out our exposé of folksonomies and social bookmarking, a plain English overview of this hot topic.
We review January's ALA Midwinter Meeting, and encourage you to come and visit us at UKSG in April, where we're offering all delegates a free 30-day trial of our IngentaConnect Premium service.
In a new regular training section, Keeping up with Connect, we start you off with a guide for downloading IngentaConnect's freely available COUNTER-compliant usage statistics. We also provide you with an update on the status of this year's renewals, and keep you posted of some recent changes to our downloadable subscription lists. And finally, as ever, we round up the list of new publishers and titles to join the IngentaConnect service, which is getting tantalisingly close to the 10,000 publications mark ...
On behalf of all of us on the library services team at Ingenta,
Douglas H. Wright
Vice President, Ingenta Inc.
