Institutional free trials now available for selected IngentaConnect journals

A newly-developed feature of IngentaConnect means publishers can now offer free trials to institutional as well as personal users. This means you can register your institution for a free 30-day trial of content offered by participating publishers.

The first publisher to offer an institutional free trial is Multi-Science Publishing, which is offering a 30-day free trial to all 2005 and 2006 content for the following Engineering and Applied Science journals:

  • Energy & Environment

The trial can be accessed by logging in to Multi-Science's IngentaConnect homepage, http://www.ingentaconnect.com/content/mscp, with your administrator user name and password (the "sign up for a free trial link" will appear above "Related Information" when you sign in).

The Royal Society of Medicine will soon be offering institutional free trial access to their publications , and trials will also soon be available for Maney Publishing's MORE Collections. We will announce any future free trial offers in forthcoming editions of this newsletter.
