Welcome

to the latest edition of eyetoeye. Since we last wrote to you, we've been busy welcoming new faces to the Ingenta team (read about Becky Lenzini and Jeff Downing's appointments here) and finalising the structure of our library services going forward. We've also been planning our speaking engagements and event attendance for 2008 - be sure to meet with us if you are attending Electronic Resources & Libraries later this month, where Jeff Downing will be discussing libraries' options for maintaining their role in a sea of competition.

At the start of this new year, we overview various industry initiatives in which we are participating to help bring improvements to e-resource management. And we update you on the roll-out of online advertising to IngentaConnect, with a summary of how it looks and works.

As usual, we have a number of special offers for you, including newly-available free trials to provide your users with temporary access to selected IngentaConnect journals, and there's a comprehensive listing of all the new publishers and titles that have been added to IngentaConnect in recent months.

Please do remember that we welcome your feedback about this newsletter – let us know (feedback@ingenta.com) if you have suggestions for features, or comments on articles you've read here.

On behalf of all of us in the library services team at Ingenta,

Claire Ginn Winthrop
Director, Library Services
