In the News: Ingenta Strengthens Client Management Team
From the December 2002 press release:Since September, Ingenta has been focused on the formation of a global customer service group. The new appointments of Adam Chesler to Vice President, New Business and Christopher Woodhead to Director, Client Management, are key roles in the new structure and will both report to Simon Dessain, Ingenta’s Chief Operating Officer, who holds responsibility for the Company’s client management operations.
Mr. Chesler comes to Ingenta with strong experience of scholarly publishing, having spent the last 17 years at Kluwer Academic. He was involved in the early stages of the development of Kluwer Online and in his most recent role as Director of Library Relations, he was not only responsible for Kluwer's global sales team, but also developed strong relationships in the academic library market.
He is a well-known figure in the scholarly publishing community and a regular speaker at both publisher and library conferences. Mr. Chesler is based in Cambridge, MA, and will take responsibility for both publisher and library new business. He assumed his post on December 10th.
