In the News: Ingenta Announces Global Growth

Did you know that more than 230+ publishers are now partnered with Ingenta? And more than 14,000 libraries around the world are registered users of Ingenta and IngentSelect? Each month our content database and global audience continues to grow.

In addition to recently completing a successful round of fundraising among our investors, we've made several major announcements of growth since the start of 2003. Here, we'd like to share some of the highlights of our recent developments:

• In late January, we announced that PALINET is now an official distributor of Ingenta's online library services in the Mid-Atlantic States, reflecting our drive to better serve libraries in these areas. To read the full press release on this partnership, click here.

• The start of the year also marked the announcement of several key publisher signings, including the World Bank, ASIP, Oxford University Press, Duke University Press and more. To read more about how these partnerships might benefit your institution, click here.

• Just this month, HERON, a division of Ingenta, has announced six new publisher signings, which will add hundreds of additional journal and book titles to its online coursepack database. The signings include 173 titles from Oxford University Press alone.

• And, BIDS, a division of Ingenta, has also announced that it will collaborate with Ovid to host their UK Academic Server (known as Academic Reference Centre 2), supporting the SilverPlatter interface. To read either of these press releases, please visit our news page at Ingenta.com.
