New service: build new revenue streams with Connect Compilations
Compilations allow for the creation of new "virtual" publications by collating content that has previously been published elsewhere on IngentaConnect. They offer publishers the opportunity to tap new revenue streams by drawing together existing content from multiple formats and sources, and repackaging it to appeal to a new market. [More...]
Ringgold and Ingenta combine to create first centralised source of institutional authentication data
Ringgold's Identify database, containing metadata about more than 100,000 institutions across the world, will be enhanced with IP data licensed from IngentaConnect's access control system. This creates the potential for updates made in the IngentaConnect system to be syndicated, via Ringgold, to other publishers' and providers' systems - long term, this will reduce the burden on librarians to update their institution's authentication credentials on multiple systems.
