Ingenta Library Outlook
IngentaConnect - Gathering Feedback from our Library CustomersIn order to ensure that IngentaConnect is fully-functional and user-friendly for our library customers, the Ingenta library team are focused on gathering as much feedback as they can for the current and future beta versions of IngentaConnect.
As well as contacting our 8,000+ library administrators requesting their thoughts on the first beta, we are also working with five librarians, all users of the current Ingenta.com service, who have agreed to dedicate regular time to testing the site and giving us their thoughts, right through to the launch.
Ingenta will be hosting a breakfast meeting for up to 30 librarians at the forthcoming ALA Annual Meeting (Saturday 26th June, 9.30am - 11.30am). The meeting will introduce attendees to the new IngentaConnect service and will gather their feedback to date. If you would like further information on the breakfast meeting, please contact amel.abourachid@ingenta.com.

Google helps to Increase Activity on Ingenta.com
We are delighted to announce that Ingenta.com registered more than 5.5 million user sessions in April. Some of the increased usage can be attributed to Google who are able to index full-text content on Ingenta. A recently distributed press release gives you more information on how we are working with Google.
ABC-CLIO abstracting and indexing databases now linked to online journals from Ingenta
ABC-CLIO have linked their historical databases, Historical Abstracts and America: History and Life, to journals available on Ingenta, helping their users to benefit from direct links to the full text.
In a press release from ABC-CLIO, Charlie Rapple, Publisher Distribution Manager at Ingenta says, "Ingenta recognizes the importance of increasing the visibility of our publishers’ material via partnerships with respected subject resources. ABC-CLIO is a key web entry point for historians, and this new agreement helps us to further strengthen our linking network which is the most comprehensive online today for publishers and libraries.”
