Eye catchers
Ingenta's Interim Report for the period ended June 2005 is now available to download from our corporate website.

Welcome

to this latest edition of eyetoeye. It's been some time since our last issue, so we've got plenty to cram in to this one, including news of our enhanced service for Chinese users and the latest development in our relationship with Google. You can also find out more about our involvement in the British Library's Joint Committee on Legal Deposit pilot project.

Don't miss this issue's timely feature on tips for journal transfers, a best practice guide to help you avoid the pitfalls when journals change hands. You should also check out our InSider feature, 10 things you didn't know about IngentaConnect, to be sure you are getting the most out of our flagship website and its services. We're excited to give you a preview of our new service, Connect Collections, which will be launched in the next few weeks. As ever, we bring you news of the latest publishers and titles to join IngentaConnect, and in this issue we also reassure you that our customer service team is now back up to speed following problems earlier this year.

Don't forget that we welcome your feedback on this newsletter, and would be happy to address within it any burning issues you may have.

Finally, we are pleased to be able to congratulate two of our publishers on successes in the recent ALPSP/Charlesworth awards. Well done to Berg Publishers for winning the Best New Journal category with Textile: The Journal of Cloth & Culture (the online version is available via IngentaConnect) and to OECD, whose StatLink Service was Highly Commended in the Publishing Innovation category.

On behalf of the publisher services team at Ingenta,

Simon Dessain
CEO
