As your online publishing technology partner, it is important that we meet the needs of your institutional and library customers. We're actually the only hosting partner in our category to offer a comprehensive range of products designed specifically to meet the needs of library administrators, and we work hard to add value to the services we offer to libraries on your behalf. As you know, we launched our new flagship website, IngentaConnect, about 18 months ago, and it incorporates a range of user-friendly administrator tools to assist librarians in setting up and maintaining online access for their patrons. Since then, we have also launched IngentaConnect Premium, an all-inclusive package designed to further reduce the administrative burden of e-journal collection management. More recently, at Online Information this month, we launched the final piece in our suite of interface options for libraries: IngentaConnect Complete.IngentaConnect Complete incorporates our full set of library-focussed features, including the ability for an institution to upload its holdings – which are then matched against the comprehensive IngentaConnect article database to prevent unnecessary document delivery ordering. Administrators have the power to control and segment patron access and spending, and link their patrons out to subscribed material held elsewhere – ensuring that both administrators and patrons have a smooth and satisfying experience when accessing your content via IngentaConnect. Complete also includes a licence to our new, OpenURL-compliant current awareness services, IngentaConnect InTouch, so users are kept up to date with your content. To coincide with the launch of Complete and InTouch, we carried out a survey of our library administrative contacts, to find out their views on the services we offer for libraries. Over 1,500 administrators responded, and whilst the survey has highlighted some areas where further improvement is needed, the feedback overall was resoundingly positive.
