New publishers and titles on the IngentaConnect platform

We are delighted to report that 2006 was a very successful year for IngentaConnect, with twice as many new publishers joining us as had done so in 2005.  250 publishers currently make their e-publications available via IngentaConnect, which now has 20,000 registered library customers and over 1 million unique end users. 42 current publisher clients signed extended agreements with us at the end of 2006, and 11 clients added new journals to the system or signed for new services.

"As a medium-sized publisher, Ingenta's services are critical to our ability to grow our business, and we are delighted by the support and expertise they deliver to us," says Michael Gallico, Managing Director of Maney Publishing which has just committed to another 3 years working with Ingenta, and added 11 new journals to IngentaConnect. "The service Ingenta delivers to us is outstanding, and the quality of support they provide to our customers enables us to focus on our core competences. They are responsive to our needs and suggestions and we benefit from their innovation, their willingness to engage with our ideas and from their critical mass which enables the cost of new developments to be spread across so many participating publishers. We look forward to benefitting further from their versatility during the next few years."
We would like to extend a big welcome to our latest new publisher partners:

The following publishers have built on their relationship with IngentaConnect to add new titles and services:
