It's been a while since the previous eyetoeye and as such there's a great deal to tell!
We've been busily updating our underlying hardware infrastructure in an effort to provide noticeable speed improvements on our IngentaConnect platform. You can read all about the specifics and the advantages we've seen, alongside some exciting new functionality releases, by reading our Infrastructure Update.
We've also been busy preparing for all the forthcoming publishing industry conferences and events - ALPSP and UKSG have announced some interesting seminars, which we've highlighted in our Events Update. And with the world's largest bookfair looming, we're pleased to announce details of our attendance at next week's Frankfurt Book Fair.
Our Insider feature this issue includes a review of Publishing Technology 6 months on. The continued integration and strengthening of all our business divisions is discussed by highlighting many prestigious new signings and some very exciting projects.
Our Publisher Forums continue to prove beneficial to understanding and working with our client base, whilst offering a great deal of new and exciting information back to you. With this in mind we reflect on our July UK Publisher Forum, which focused on Society Publishers, and we provide details of what you can expect to see at our December UK Publisher Conference entitled 'Publishing Technology Trends'. As always, we have information on our newest publisher partners, continuing our excellent growth in clients, many of whom we hope to see at December's event.
Finally, we take an in-depth look at the usefulness of Web 2.0 functionalities and how they can be leveraged to provide maximum benefit to you and your subscribers.
