Rising to the digital challenge: our forthcoming events

As we reach the summer conference season, here's a summary of the events Ingenta and its sibling Publishing Technology companies will be attending over the next few months:

Publishing Technology Trends: rising to the digital challenge
On May 28th, we are hosting a seminar in Boston that will explore the technologies that publishers can exploit to help them in rising to the digital challenge. Our own Leigh Dodds and Louise Tutton will be joined by Chris Clarke from information management software provider Talis, and Helen Henderson from marketing consultancy and database provider Ringgold (see this article about our newest collaboration with Ringgold). The agenda will cover:

The event will run from 1.30 to 4.30pm on May 28th, in the Park Plaza Hotel in Boston - just a couple of blocks away from the Westin Copley Place hotel, where the SSP meeting (below) will begin at 5pm.

If you have not received your invitation, view it online here, and be sure to contact us quickly if you would like to attend, as the event has limited capacity. To book your place, contact morayea.pindziak@publishingtechnology.com.

Society for Scholarly Publishers Annual Meeting
Ingenta will have a booth (22) in the exhibition at the annual SSP meeting, and we'll be demonstrating our new pub2web publishing platform, which features semantic data modeling, text mining, support for multiple content formats and sophisticated end-user functionality. Ingenta will have a full team at the show, including vice president Doug Wright, head of client management Louise Tutton and client managers Anna Drage, Holly Rondeau and Patrick Foss. If you'd like to arrange an appointment with us during the event, please contact your client manager - or if you are not yet a customer, take this opportunity to meet our new business consultant Nick Weir-Williams and learn about how pub2web, and our other publishing platforms, can help you grow your business.

Book Expo America
Our new vice president of strategy & business development, Randy Petway, will be in Los Angeles for Book Expo America, where he'll also be showcasing pub2web alongside Publishing Technology's broader range of technologies to support books publishing. Please get in touch if you'd like to arrange an appointment with Randy during this event.

ALPSP International Conference
The conference season is reignited following the summer break with this new conference from the Association of Learned and Professional Society Publishers, to be held in Windsor (UK) in September. Ingenta and its parent company Publishing Technology will be sponsoring the event's opening cocktail reception so for that, at least, we encourage you to join us!
