The Ingenta Library Outlook

The Ingenta Library Outlook, a regular EyetoEye column, strives to keep our publisher community informed of all of the current product developments and promotions, customer communications and event preparation we're undertaking to reach institutions around the globe, and better serve our library customer community.

Recent initiatives include:

Athens Compliancy for IngentaSelect.com
IngentaSelect, our electronic-only service (formerly known as CatchWord.com) became Athens compliant in April 2003. Athens has contacted each of their library administrators in the UK alerting them to our compliancy. This means that UK HE patrons will have an even easier path to follow in reaching your publications on IngentaSelect through Athens’ Web-based, single point of access authentication system.

SLA and ALA Event Preparation
Ingenta will be exhibiting at both the Special Libraries Association Annual Conference in New York, NY, and the American Library Association Annual Conference in Toronto, Canada this June. Special mailings, product promotions and event giveaways are being planned to reach out to both current customers and library prospects. You can find us at SLA at Stand #405 and at ALA at Stand #3303.

Library Usage Statistics Coming Soon
Ingenta is preparing to launch its basic usage statistics package, avilable monthly to all institutional customers this Summer. The statistics will be COUNTER compliant. Stay tuned for more details on the launch date and service features.
